Short courses to help you find employment
There are a few short courses you can do to increase your chances of finding employment.
The courses are inexpensive and can be completed within a day.

* RSA (Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol) - (online) You will need this to work in a pub or club.
* Food Safety & Handling - (online) Anyone involved in food handling must have this training.
* Covid Safety - (online) Many eateries still require their employees to have this certificate.
* White Card - (online) You will need this if you want to work in the construction industry.
* Barista Training - (in person) This is great to have if you want to work in a cafe making coffee.

It is important to keep in mind that some certificates are recognised in some states but not in others.
For example, the Western Australian RSA (responsible serving of alcohol) certificate can only be used in WA and not in other states. Make sure to check the course carefully before enrolling.
